Dark Eden
Lost in dormant dreams so unattainable
A place where solace is found, eternally
And upon finding them so intangible
I settle in this place oh so readily
And through troubled waters I cross
Upon this Eden I gain just a glimpse
And to know then that I am lost
This construct of heaven in constant eclipse
Majestic playground of sick fantasies
Hallucinations that have come undone
Mix so easily with the tragedies
My mind a novel, this dark eden
Left to wonder in timelessness
Re-use of words brings me to pause
And as Im laid down to rest
I leave my mind this world of flaws
